"Western Saddle" by Moda

Vinyl/Leather Look

56" wide

$12.95 per yard (regular retail $15.00)
This vinyl resembles vinyl only from the wrong or backside. The right or frontside of the fabric is delightful. Smooth and soft with unbelievable realistec embossing that looks exactly like saddle leather!

I have used it to cover closet doors in my boys bedrooms to resemble leather covered doors. I have also used it to cover their wall cupboards (they were awful white melamine that clashed with the awesome aged red and browns we used).

Pillows, Chaps (dress up!!!), Table Top Covering, Lampshade Cover, Bedroll (easy to clean and just like the cowboys!) to name just a few ideas for this terrific, not-like-we-know-it-vinyl.

GREAT addition to the Western Themed room!

"Vintage Ticking" by Moda

100% Cotton

Blue/Natural or Cream

44"/45" wide

$7.99 (regular retail $10.00)

What a great find this fabric is!!! Most blue tickings I have found (and I have searched for a long time) are anywhere from 27"-33" wide...just not wide enough! AND, the tickings that are the 44"/45" wide are only cotton broadcloth or calico and NOT the wonderful thicker woven almost canvas like ticking. THIS ONE IS! It is 44"/45" wide and is thick and soft (not overstarched like some either)...so very many, many uses for this one!

Pillow Insert, Pillow Cover/Case, Curtains, Bedding, Quilts, Table Cloth, Bedskirt, Slip Covers for furniture, Matting for Picture Frames (I did this!), Bean Bags and more, more, more!!!

Another Fantastic find for your Western or Country themes!

~~~Pretty Patterns~~~
BW Dress Form
Pretty Patterns! I love, love, love them! I want to see them all and find homes for them all too!
I, of course, do not fit into most of the women's vintage patterns but have found some that do work! Also, they are great for my daughter since those waistlines are so very tiny...just some minor adjustments in the bust and length and Minniemee has a new outfit!
Although down the road I will be adding brand new patterns, they will have the feel and look and timeless quality that the vintage patterns hold.
Most of the patterns here will be truly vintage and used at least one time. Since they are vintage they WILL HAVE signs of useage. I will let you know of the condition and will indicate as to whether they are cut or uncut patterns and copies or originals. I also verify that all pieces are, in fact, in the envelope!
The only time I will offer copies is when I come across a pattern that I love and cannot part with but know that some of you would love it also!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

$8.95

Simplicity Pattern #3803
Size 4

Simplicity does not typically date their patterns.
This one is clearly in the 1950's.

Very good condition.
All pieces accounted for. (3 of them are copies of the original)

How darling will your sweet little one look in this outfit? Never too early to begin for Easter...

Perfect timing to pick out a Christmas print for the dress and Velvet for the coat....oh so pretty!

$4.95

Simplicity Pattern #4786
Size 4

Simplicity does not typically date their patterns.
This one appears to have been printed in the late 1950's.

Very Good condition.
All pieces are in the envelope except for the head scarf of which
would be extremely easy to draw out.

With Fall approaching this is a great coat for your daughter...AND it's
reversible...save time on having to wash...OR just allow for additional outfit coordination!

McCalls Pattern #9172

Size 4

Copyright 1952

Very Good condition.

All pieces accounted for except for the belt. This piece is drawn into the images and would be extremely easy to draw out.

This pattern is one of my favorites. I made one very similar to it for my Minniemee for Easter last year. It is a perfect school dress, church dress or "visiting-friends" dress!

$10.95

Simplicity Pattern #1956

Size 4

Copyright 1947.

All pieces in tact.

The envelope is not quite fragile but has the normal bumps, scuffs and tears around the edges. The pattern pieces themselves are in terrific shape.

What a find this pattern is. In tact, DARLING, darling, and from the 1940'S!!! I LOVE this pattern. I did not come across it until my darling had outgrown it...but I have taken a copy of it for myself so that I can either enlarge it OR keep it to make for friends and someday...Grandbabies!

McCalls Pattern #3040

Size 16

Bust 34

Copyright 1954.

All pieces in tact and accounted for.

This pattern is to die for! It is slimming due to the narrow panels in the skirt...and the neckline that allows for the appearance of a long slim neck (whether you have one in real life or need the appearance of one like me!)

There are plenty of you out there that fall into the 34" bust line...(measure not the widest point, nor underneath, but from your back to the upper part of your chest)...and waist and shoulders can be adjusted with ease (don't be intimidated it is so much easier than it seems to be)....

I can't wait to see this one done and on one of you!

Du Barry #2321B

Size 4

Copyright 1940's

This pattern is complete. It is also in Excellent condition!

What a darlin' little dress to add to the closet of your darlin' little girl! The pattern covers both the jumper and the blouse...The instructions for the dress are well illustrated and easy to understand!

Most of the patterns from the 1940s, especially the designers that are no longer in business, go for upwards of $35.00 on other sites...take advantage of the great deal here...

Pattern is complete and in very good condition.

Another one I had purchased to size up for Minnie but that was when she was 5 instead of 8...another darling Christmas or Easter dress for certain! Just look at the rick-rack...can you see the dress in red with white rick-rack for a Christmas dress? Love it!

Inspiring Instructional Books!

Oh! How I love these books too!

Instructions make so much sense! Instead of taking your chances with learning straight from a pattern you buy...Get the Instructional books first! They will most certainly inspire you!

All books offered here will most likely be vintage or antique. At the very least used. I will do my best to describe the condition of each precisely. These items WILL HAVE wear and useage marks.

***The Five "W"'s***

Who? What? Where? When? How?

It seemed to me that there needed to be the token "About Me" or "About Provisions of Grace" entry. But it's so blase, so ordinary to put those precise words on my site...so...

It is now "The Five "W"'s". We all remember that school-room lesson right? Ask these questions of any story or subject matter and we can essentially have the whole story. Well, almost.

The Who: (No, not the band.) The me. Provisions of Grace is me. Tam of Time for Twittering. Tam of My Story of Me. Tam of To Bring Up a Child. Tam of a whole new "piece of me" that has not been wholly introduced to this world yet. It is the creativity, the artist in me bursting to the seams with ideas and thoughts that I rarely allow escape for...there hasn't been time...

The What: (No, not second base, please don't tell me if you are not old enough to know Abbott and Costello.) The stuff. The stuff is what inspires me. Seeing something old, something with a story. Something with a past. I want to make it "new" again. Refresh it. Not always completely new, I like the dings and dents...those tell the story. Seeing a color, a font, a sparkle, a graphic, an interaction between people...these all can get me going with creativity. (Re-newing, Re-freshing, accommodating the dings and dents...sounds vaguely similar to what God has done with me!)

The Where: (No, nothing clever for this one!) The Here. You'll all know sooner or later. The Here is in my head. It's where the ideas come from. It's where I dream, dream, dream and then have to climb down just a few rungs to make it real, real, real. The Here is in my soul. Creativity and desire for entrepreneurialism is in my genes and therefore soul. It is one of the "pieces of me" I wrestled with God over about it's point of origin. Him or something else. The wrestling match is over. It is my opinion it is of Him. The Here is also, my beloved and beautiful Idaho.

The Why: (No, no more wit, I said I was creative not witty!) The Why. Hmmmm. This one is harder to answer. This one...Is the power. This one. This one question brings all the others together. The beginning of Why is because I have always dreamed and schemed to have my own business. The middle of Why is more complex and obscure...it involves allowing my creativity out instead of it festering inside, to show my children how important it is to indulge and nurture that aspect of themselves, to find pure joy in the act of pouring myself out, to live out the dreams. I'm afraid the middle will not be completed for you...it would take too long. The end all, bottom line of it all in this moment in time is a bit of necessity.

The How: (Yes, it is too a "W"...my teacher said so!) The How. This one is easy. The God. The God, my God, The-e one and only God. HE is How I am and will do this. He will give me the courage, the strength, the stamina, the endurance, the blessing (oh how I pray for this), the wherewithal to do all of this. Not to mention my friends, my family, my beloved Husband. Oh yes, and it will be done in blogdom for now. It will move a bit into eBay. Then prayerfully, that will usher in a website and physical location.

By George I believe she's done!
